Do you need an MRI?
Here are two graphs created following the results of research articles which looked at MRI findings comparing symptomatic and asymptomatic people. As you can see, changes in our body are normal, and are natural as we age. Luckily for a lot of people, these changes don't lead to pain.
MRIs and other investigations are not always necessary when treating various conditions, and often don't change the way in which the condition is managed (which usually means making some lifestyle changes that accommodate for your problem, and aim to improve symptoms).
